This 1969 River Queen is up for sale; it has recently been appraised by a reputable broker to be in the $35,000 – $40,000 price range.
The vessel is an all-steel, 40′ houseboat (12’ beam) with twin Chrysler 318 V8-gasoline engines, walk-around deck and Flybridge. It sleeps 4 – 6; with head, shower, galley with stove, a 70-gallon fresh water tank  and hot-water tank; Fridge, Microwave, 2 sinks (head and galley) and a 4-person dinette.
It has 4 Batteries (3 AGM, all new in 2015) with a 3-bank charger and 4 bilge pumps, 6.5 hp generator; swim deck with swim ladder, fog horn, remote-controlled spotlight and stereo with indoor/outdoor speakers, electric heaters in 3 locations (pilothouse, head and salon) and A/C in Salon overhead (on Flybridge deck).
The manufacturer stopped making these houseboats in 1972 when it converted all production to “Fast-boats” for the Army, in Viet Nam.
In 2016 its ignition and fuel systems were upgraded, and 4 new tachometers were installed. The boat is fully operational, and available for demonstration rides. It is located in a covered slip on Table Rock Lake, Missouri, just a few miles West of Branson. All maintenance is done regularly, and the two Dana Outdrives were serviced in 2016, at which time boots  and bellows were replaced, along with gimbals, seals and cables – all routine maintenance.

2017 upgrades now in progress include two all new Edelbrock 1409 marine 600 CFM electric-choke 4-barrel, square bore carburetors.
